Fees, Payment, & Cancellations
Fees
Fees are established during the initial phone consultation. A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available based on demonstrated financial need.Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, may be charged the full session fee. When possible, I will make reasonable efforts to reschedule a late cancellation within the same week.
Insurance does not determine the clinical fee. If an insurance company does not reimburse a claim, the client remains responsible for the agreed-upon fee unless otherwise arranged in advance.

Insurance
I currently participate with:
Aetna
Insurance coverage varies by individual plan. Clients are responsible for confirming their benefits, including deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, authorization requirements, and any limitations on outpatient mental health services.
When I am not an in-network provider for your particular plan, I may provide services on an out-of-network basis. Payment is due at the time of service, and I can provide an itemized statement (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
I cannot guarantee that an insurance company will reimburse any particular service or amount.
Safety and Emergencies
Psychotherapy is not an emergency or crisis-response service.
If you are experiencing an immediate emergency or believe that you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or contact 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
If significant concerns about your safety arise during treatment, we will work together to assess the situation and develop an appropriate safety plan. Depending on the circumstances, this may include consultation with other professionals, emergency services, family or other supports, or referral to a higher level of care.
My goal is to preserve confidentiality whenever possible while taking appropriate steps when there is a serious and imminent safety concern.
Ready to Make a Change?
You don't have to know exactly what needs to change before beginning therapy. A 20-minute consultation is an opportunity to talk about what is bringing you in, ask questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
